Iridology is the science of analyzing the delicate structures of the iris, the colored structures of the eye; as well as the sclera, the white portion of the eye surrounding the iris. The examination of the iris can reveal overall body constitution; current levels of health of body organs and systems; inherited or acquired weaknesses and strengths in the body; illness, injury or inflammation in the body; and it can tell if an individual has over or under activity in specific areas or organ systems of the body. However, Iridology cannot diagnosis specific diseases.
